I’ve been curious about the mall that is featured in Office Girls that is supposedly owned by the character of Qin Zi Qi played by Roy Qiu why-you-so-hot.

It turns out to be the mall near the Chiang Kai Shek international airport: Taimall.

They use CGI to retouch the facade of the building in the drama and put “Jing Shi Department Store”.

Apparently, fans have flocked to the place owing to the popularity of the drama. Many of the drama scenes are filmed here, I’d say about 50% of them. Some of the most memorable: when Qi Zi Qi and Shen Xing Ren meet for the first time and she’s dressed in the dragon mascot costume; when Zi Qi dons the dragon costume holding a balloon and offering it to her; the escalator scene where Xing Ren goes up and down with the box of wine while Zi Qi watches her.

When I was watching Why Why Love, I went to check out Miramar. Until now, it’s one of my favorite places to visit because I love the Ferris wheel. But Taimall is quite a long drive from Taipei.

But who knows, I’d see Roy Qiu if I go there, and then I’d finally get to shout: QIU ZE, WHY YOU SO HOT?!
