I came across a very funny story today. Well, it’s not really funny from a journalistic point of view. But it illustrates the lengths some would do to make their delusions come true. It’s not enough anymore to weave lies through social media and blogs. They even make it to aggregator sites that may be perceived as “legitimate” media. But perhaps the better term is virtual rags or trash bin. Gous? Sorry Jay Chou, they’re history. Bzzzzz. Bzzzzz.
The thing is, in this social media era where there’s a lot of noise on the Internet and the race is to get clicks, likes or retweets even for drivel, truth is no longer an important commodity. In fact, truth has become a collateral damage in wanting to push imagined versions of reality.
The trouble when wrong information gets out there is this…just leaving this here.
Be careful of the trash you throw out there, it might choke you back someday.
