life in the post-BARAMIBUNDA era

THAT WINTER THE WIND BLOWS is over but I am still reeling, trying to gather my thoughts on the ending and the whole point of it all. Some day when I’ve made sense of it all, I’ll blog about it. In the meantime, my Korean colleague, who I have bonded with over Baramibunda (we always exchange emails after every episode, mostly to spazz over Jo In-sung), just sent me an email that made me happy.

Of course it’s about THAT WINTER THE WIND BLOWS, specifically, on separate interviews with Jo In-sung and Song Hye-kyo that was combined.

The reporter asked SHK if there was anything she wanted to ask JIS (and no, it was not about a ridiculous rumor that she was rejected by JIS when she asked him out):

“Well, what should I ask JIS? … Were you happy during the winter?”

Later, JIS answered in his own interview:

“I was happy as much as you were.”

Seriously, it’s one of those times I wish I could understand Hangul.

And yes, despite the angst and some quibble I have about the drama and mostly directed at Writer Noh… I was also happy during winter. Thank you Oh Soo and Oh Young.

And since winter is over and it’s so humid, I’d love to have iced GREEN tea, please.
