During my previous visits to Seoul, I don’t mind eating bibimbap everyday. It’s easy to remember and pronounce, plus it’s a very basic meal that has everything: rice, meat, vegetables.
Now, the burger version of the famous Korean dish has taken the fancy of New Yorkers. It has even been voted by Eater.com as the best burger in New York City.
Like the traditional bibimbap, the burger has a beef patty cooked in sweet and savory sauce, topped with coleslaw, picked carrots, cucumbers and a slow-cooked egg.
It’s available at Social Eatz in Manhattan which also serves bulgogi burger and grilled tofu burger, among others. Check out the very interesting menu.
