I was packaging this story today for our news service and I was fixated at the photos.
The story is about a Chinese couple who had different ideas on what they wanted for their home. The husband wanted classic Chinese design while the wife wanted a European look. They had a disagreement though it did not result in a divorce. Thankfully, they met a designer who married the eastern and western concepts and voila:
I love the Buddha statues and the dark green walls in contrast with the cream floor and the off-white sofa.
The chess board is also love and the dark furnishings. Yes, I can live in this home.
(Putting this under fASIANista since I don’t have a style/design section.)
