Well, it’s that time of year for shopaholics.
If you live in Bangkok, this weekend is one of the annual sales that many look forward to, including (and especially?) Japanese tourists: it’s the Jim Thompson Sale! From June 3-5, it’s going to be at BITEC which is just a stone’s throw (traffic aside) from where I live.
Then of course, there’s the Grand Singapore Sale that started on May 27 and lasts until July 24.

Wahsay, two months for shopaholics to have their fill! (I love Singapore but I still find it a tad expensive compared to Hong Kong and Bangkok, even when on sale. Besides, most of their brands are available in Bangkok… but when is H&M opening anyway?!)
But the one sale I am looking forward to, especially after reading this article, is Hong Kong’s fabled sale season. I’d be in HK, hopefully next month for a business trip, and I must remind myself to hold on tight to my wallet. And of course, get some work–not shopping–done.
